Loos used this very unusual looking sofa in at least three interiors. The most admired one is the Villa Müller in Prague, where he placed two pieces in the living room just in front of the fireplace. Loos is not the author of this design; it is rather a modification of a couch that was produced by the English company Hamptons as far back as the end of the 19th century.
