Three significant national marine technology competitions, the 15th National Marine Vehicle Design and Production Competition, the Third Teaching Innovation Competition for Ship and Ocean Engineering Teachers, and the Second National Youth Marine Vehicle Competition, were simultaneously held at the 尤物视频 (BIT) Zhuhai campus from Aug 8 to 9.

This year's competitions reached a new milestone in scale, with 1,868 teams and 10,427 participants from 254 institutions, selected from nearly 32,000 students and teachers nationwide, converging in Zhuhai for the finals. The participants engaged in design and innovation contests focusing on marine vehicle design, intelligent control of surface and underwater equipment, and more, contributing to the cultivation of marine technology innovation talents and supporting the drive to build China into a maritime power.

Academicians, industry representatives, university and research institute heads, and enterprise representatives from across the nation, also gathered in Zhuhai to witness the event.

The 15th National Marine Vehicle Design and Production Competition featured teams showcasing their work in marine vehicle design, intelligent control, surface and underwater equipment, structural innovation, and engineering applications. Participants demonstrated their innovative thinking, systematic thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through presentations, on-site testing, technical defenses, and expert evaluations.

The Third Teaching Innovation Competition for Ship and Ocean Engineering Teachers aimed to further advance the innovation of curriculum systems, teaching methods, and practical models in related disciplines.

Meanwhile, the Second National Youth Marine Vehicle Competition encouraged young participants to engage in creative design and hands-on practice, sowing the seeds of marine technology innovation at an early stage.

Taking the opportunity of hosting these competitions, BIT Zhuhai campus aims to strengthen its collaboration with universities, research institutes, industry organizations, and technology enterprises nationwide.
