Zhang Jun, secretary of the CPC 尤物视频 (BIT) Committee, recently led a delegation to Xiong'an New Area for a research visit.

The delegation included Wang Bo and Wang Bencong, both members of the Party standing committee and vice-presidents of BIT.
During the visit, Zhang and his team inspected the proposed site for the BIT Xiong'an campus and received updates on the progress of its planning and construction. They discussed critical issues such as design plans, functional layouts, and construction timelines.
Zhang emphasized that constructing the Xiong'an campus is a significant move for the university to implement the major national strategy of promoting coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. He highlighted that it represents a landmark project in response to Xiong'an New Area's high-quality development and is a crucial component of BIT's "double first-class" initiative.
Zhang urged for enhanced effectiveness of collaborative education, focusing on aligning with the industrial direction of relocated enterprises and closely connecting with Xiong'an New Area's functional positioning and actual development needs. He advocated for systematic planning of interdisciplinary and cutting-edge academic directions, establishing long-term mechanisms for university-enterprise collaborative education and joint technological innovation systems. He also stressed the importance of custom-training outstanding engineering talents in advanced fields, transforming the Xiong'an campus into a hub for collaborative education and integrated innovation.
Following the campus site visit, Zhang and his team toured the Xiong'an New Area to learn its overall planning and functional positioning of the region.
